The few nights that I’ve enjoyed here are honestly one of the most peaceful times I’ve experienced recently, especially while traveling for work. It’s been rainy, and while the weather isn’t idyllic it puts me in mind of East of Eden by Steinbeck:
“In March the soft rains continued, and each storm waited courteously until its predecessor sunk into the ground.”
Your farm is wonderful, and getting to see new rescues arrive last night was a highlight of my stay. I hope to visit again one day with my family; my kids will love the alpacas especially.
