Equine Resource Guide
Therapeutic riding, horseback riding lessons, and guided trail rides across San Diego County.
At Robin's Nest Rescue, we are often asked for referrals to therapeutic riding programs, horseback riding lessons, and trail riding opportunities throughout San Diego County.
Robin's Nest Rescue offers animal-assisted wellness and educational experiences through our Side by Side program. While participants often build meaningful relationships with horses and other rescued animals, we do not offer horseback riding lessons, pony rides, therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, or guided trail rides. Our programs focus on connection, confidence-building, emotional wellness, personal growth, and hands-on experiences with animals through primarily ground-based interactions.
To help individuals and families explore other equine-related opportunities that may better fit their interests or needs, we have compiled the following list of community resources.
Please note that Robin's Nest Rescue does not operate, supervise, or manage any of the organizations listed below. This guide is provided solely as a courtesy and for informational purposes. Inclusion in this resource guide does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, certification, or guarantee of any organization, instructor, program, facility, service, or outcome.
Individuals and families are encouraged to conduct their own research and due diligence when selecting a program, including reviewing qualifications, safety practices, insurance coverage, accessibility, costs, and suitability for their specific needs and circumstances.
