At 14, Steven arrived at Robin's Nest carrying deep loss and trauma. Nearly four years later, he has become a trusted volunteer and animal care handler, helping rescued animals find healing — while finding his own along the way.

Phinneas shares Steven's story of second chances, having been rescued from a kill pen in Louisiana. The two can be found hand-in-hoof on most days around Robin's Nest.
