Neptune's journey to Robin's Nest is one of the most powerful examples of resilience within our sanctuary.
A victim of a mountain lion attack and later isolated within his herd, Neptune was initially considered "too difficult" to rehome. But Robin's Nest believes deeply in second chances.
Today, Neptune is thriving. He is healthy, calmer, and gradually learning to trust both people and other alpacas again.
His story reminds us that healing is rarely immediate — but always possible.
