Serving as Founder of Robin's Nest Rescue is one of the greatest privileges of my life. What began as a lifelong love of animals has become a mission that humbles me every day. I am endlessly grateful for the animals who teach us, the people who trust us, and the community that continues to help turn this dream into something far bigger than myself. Witnessing healing happen—side by side, for both animals and humans—is a gift I never take for granted.
Kimber Williams is the visionary founder and president behind Robin's Nest Rescue, where her lifelong passion for animals, justice, and human connection has shaped the organization's mission and growth from the ground up.
A fifth-generation ranch woman with deep family roots in agriculture and animal stewardship, Kimber founded Robin's Nest by combining a lifelong love of animals with a vision for creating a place where both animals and people could find safety, belonging, and hope. Under her leadership, Robin's Nest has grown from a heartfelt dream into a thriving community nonprofit serving rescued animals while developing innovative programming that support vulnerable populations through animal-assisted connection and nature-based experiences.
Professionally, Kimber brings a unique blend of legal training, entrepreneurial leadership, strategic relationship-building, and communications expertise to her role as Board President. After earning her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego, she built a successful career in executive legal recruiting, partnering directly with top law firms and Fortune 500 companies to identify transformative leadership talent. Her experience in advocacy, negotiation, storytelling, and organizational growth has helped shape Robin's Nest into a mission-driven organization with expanding community partnerships and impact.
Kimber's passion for justice, healing, and second chances has long guided her work. Her early involvement with the California Innocence Project, combined with years of volunteer service in animal welfare and therapeutic programming environments, helped inspire Robin's Nest's trauma-informed approach to healing and connection. She remains deeply committed to creating a place where rescued animals help foster resilience, compassion, and hope—for every person who walks through the gates.
